Rodents rule

Once in a...

Blimey, it was tricky to walk across Waterloo Bridge this evening, what with all the photographers and their tripods. So I decided to join them. using one of the posts of the bridge as a steady aid. It's not as sharp as I'd like, but I didn't want to linger (freezing cold from the wind and the icy wrath of commuters being disrupted in their A to B).

Fred and I went for a walk up to Norwood Park later on in the evening to look at the city in the moonlight. Lots of little red dots on the skyline from cranes and skyscrapers. We reminisced about the time when the Gherkin was the most prominent building we could see. Now, it can't be seen at all with all the taller buildings around it. Poor Gherkin.

Garden notes: squirrels, robins, blue tit and starlings at breakfast, all in fine form.
