Super Blue Blood Moon

A blue moon is the second full moon in a month.
A supermoon is a full moon that comes closet to earth in its elliptical orbit, making it look larger.
A blood moon happens during a lunar eclipse.
All three happened together for the first time since 1866 

OilMan and I preferred watching the full moon rise last night to watching the man who plays at being president give his state of the union speech. He lives in a world of his own fantasy and might as well be called liar-in-chief. What would happen if he gave a speech and nobody showed up?

I was much amused to read an article in the paper in which a curator at the Guggenheim Museum refused a White House curator's request for the loan of a Van Gogh for the private living quarters. Her response was polite but firm:
the museum could not accommodate a request to 'borrow" a painting by VIncent Van Gogh For President Donald and Melania Trump's private living quarters. Instead...another piece was available, one that was nothing like 'Landscape with Snow'. The curator's alternative: an 18 carat fully functioning, solid gold toilet---an interactive work entitled 'America" the creation of contemporary artist Maurizio Cattelan---in a public restroom on the museum's fifth floor for visitors to use....but the exhibit was over and the toilet was available, 'should the President and the First Lady have any interest in installing it in the White House.'
