Not so super Moon!

There was no chance last night of a moon rise  of the super blue moon. Fleeting glimpse through the clouds later but no colour, so there I was in a frost rimmed Rape field one hour before Moon set. A good job I was as I practiced and lined up my chosen industrial foreground first the sunrise behind me started to flatten the light, next a band of cloud formed just above the horizon and although the moon reappeared beneath it, it  was by then totally distorted by the light pollution :(   Not happy with many of the shots I took the above defo the best of a bad bunch.
Off to try and catch up with yesterdays journals as we are out for a live music gig tonight so will be behind again !!!!
