Beech in Winter

I should have ventured out this morning when it was lovely and sunny but by the time I had put the newsletter to bed, the sky had clouded over.  Nevertheless, it was good to be out in the cold and dry so I took a circuit around Goit Stock to avoid the muddy paths.  The only colour of any note alongside the beck was this beech tree.

Harden Hobblers tonight and we have signed up for the Shamrock Shuffle which apparently comes with a leprechaun hat in the entry fee!
