Glass fusing

This week was inclusions. You make a pattern then enclose it in glass by putting a clear piece on the top and then heating it in the kiln. It will look very different after firing. I used mica powder and gold bits, with frit ( small pieces of broken glass ) under the tree. When fired it all melts down to a 6mm thickness.

My extra is 2 firings of identical pieces that I made last week. One in the hot kiln and the other at a lower temperature. They have come out very different. One is much more defined.
