Back in Kenya!
I'm back at my favourite venue for our meetings, Lake Naivasha Country Club - it's a slightly shabby former colonial stop off for the small planes flying from South Africa to London. These days it hosts conferences and meetings and we hold our annual protection meeting here - the location is perfect as most participants come from countries around East Africa so it keeps travel costs (and our carbon footprint) down. I also love the retreat-style and tranquil gardens. For our teams - many coming out of stressful war zones, it's a haven. I'm particularly worried about out colleagues from Yemen who've been living under regular bombardments, and are out of the routine of sleeping properly - they are very edgy and it takes days for them to relax.
We'll be staying out of the way of the hippos though!
(I just changed the photo as I found this one of the hippos and I've blipped the wild animals sign before)
