Super blood blue moon

Crazy busy today but managed to see the super rare ‘super blue blood moon’. I found it funny the amount of people expecting the moon to be blue. The moon was, for a short time, reddish in colour, that’s the blood reference, but the blue is it’s rarity of the occurrence in a lunar cycle. A Blue moon is a second full moon in a month, a rare-ish event. Hence the phrase, ‘once in a blue moon’. Either way it was a sight to behold and we were lucky enough to get a break in the cloud to see it.
