Gatehouse

It went for a brief walk at lunchtime, walking past the gatehouse at Victoria Park.

The last time I walked past it was a  muddy green colour, and not in use. Now it has been given a lick of paint and is royal air force blue. And it has become a drop in centre for ex armed forces people, as well as others in the community. The gatehouse offers courses to help skill up people who have only known a forces life for years and need to find a new future on civvy street - training in radio, broadcast media, financial planning, food hygiene, literacy and numeracy, etc. So a good thing I think.
