Scottish Widows

On my way back to the station after a great conference today.

This was my favourite building to pass by on the way to feed the ducks (and run from the geese) at Holyrood when I stayed with my Gran when I was wee. I think it used to have fish, but I couldn’t see them today. I would have hung about longer to look if I’d known I was about to endure a two hour delay getting home. Not only was there a delay, but the train to Dundee was diverted via Stirling, and the guy next to me had a collection of green sharpies and some very particular views on, oh, nice topics like contraception, state support and abortion. Not controversial at all in a packed carriage of weary travellers.

Glad to be home.
