On my walk today

If the right blip is showing then it will look a bit spooky. The watcher in the woods. Actually this was the point we turned round as it was a bit too muddy up ahead and I didn't want to risk slipping.

So we had a lovely walk up the lane and back to the car and then went to a garden cafe where I had a pot of green tea. I was so hoping we'd be having something to eat but my friend didn't want anything so I didn't bother. They had a salad on their menu too which sounded good.

I did ok walking really and was pleased with myself.

Not so pleased with the 'carer's tonight. Two we hadn't had for a long time, I didn't recognise them. I told them mum gets hoisted, they proceeded to roll her over which she didn't like and said so. Then the one rolling her over didn't protect her head and banged her head repeatedly on the bars on the top side of the bed. I spoke out immediately and in the time it took for me to get from the sofa to the bed to do something this idiot had banged mum's head another couple of times.

They were in a rush by the look of things and think they'd come up with the excuse of having been told mum should be rolled so that they could get it done quickly.
Then afterwards the one who had said that, said she thought it was in the book that mum could be hoisted. So she knew all along.
She then said she'd tell them. I think that was to cover herself.

I'm going to have to start being a bit more forceful regarding what happens with mum and if they start telling me what mum needs I'll throw them out.
