The Life Of Ponty Cyclops

800 Up - Bramble On ....

800th consecutive blip ... who would have thought it ... I was only ever really going for 365 and then relaxing ...

Been a hectic day so a small window for getting photos. Autumn has most certainly arrived as the winter birds have appeared in the garden. We have two Bramblings in residence now, which are wonderfully coloured finches. They drip autumnal colours of browns and russets. I love watching them! Hopefully the Reed Buntings will appear to say goodbye before we leave. The Jay is still constantly in the garden collecting peanuts. It's wonderful in one sense, but I suspect it is due to the lack of acorns from the oak trees in the woods, which is a longer term worry, as the bird will have no cache from which to feed this winter.

The quotes are all in, and they were not as expensive as we expected, so hopefully by next Tuesday we will have everything tied and up and have a definite moving plan.

It's all happening isn't it!
