April & Carter Visit

The blip I'd planned today had to do with going out to the side garden and capturing the changing reds of my young oak tree as it was basking in the autumn sunshine while we have it. Prediction of rain tomorrow...
The blip that arrived, inside as you can see, is entirely different.
This is the first time I have met 4-month old Carter, the grandson of April, a local woman who helps with house chores. April takes him to her worksites sometimes. His mom is a junior (11th grader) in high school. The entire family feels blessed to have this happy new member in their family.
