Cakes

My daughter had to go to London and wouldn’t be back until late. So we were looking after the grandchildren. We made some cakes. Then had a cup of tea with a cake and watch The Highway Rat. Granddaughter N wouldn’t sit still I think she had a rush of sugar that gave her some energy. . So at half past four we started to make our way to our daughters house so I could give them their tea and get then ready for bed. We called into the fish and chip shop for our tea. While we were in there daughter text and said she was on here way home. Daughter got home at about 6.30. The girls were pleased to see her. The girls were in bed fast asleep by 7.30. We got home at 8.30. I was worn out. Feet up with a cup of tea.
