Banksia at Wombat Hollow

A lovely visit to Barb and Catherine and a long walk examining new growth, old growth and later checking out the bird action at the water bowls.

The banksia is more ostentatious than most Australian native plants, at least at this stage, but as Barb pointed out, there are subtleties and beauty in even the tiniest flowers.
You've just got to know where to look:)
