Swannie Swansong?

Meet my mate Swannie.

Swannie and I usually bump into each other when I'm out for a walk at lunchtime and lately he's even taken to clambering out of the river, waddling across and sitting on my feet whilst we have a blether.

After a while he gets up, has a wee shake then waddles back into the river, gliding elegantly away down the water.

I fear our time together maybe drawing to an end though, as I hear reports that he's been seen canoodling with some bird further upstream.

I'm really happy and hope that he's found a mate......... but I'll miss our wee chats.

Extra - It's hard to get a blip of a swan when he's sitting on your feet!
