Catkins in the Sun!

There were hardly any birds on land in the Montrose Basin Nature Reserve this morning  -  they were all out on the water and difficult to get a focus on.  However, the Hazel trees at the entrance were splendidly showing off their Catkins in the sun  -  see my Main.  I did go down to the Bank of Scotland Hide, and caught these snowdrops (see Extra) on my way down  -  the first I've seen around here this year.
