The Port Appin crane

I started the new crane model earlier in the week but the lack of suitable wheels and cogs made it difficult to get the realism I wanted to achieve.  I sent off for a model railway kit of a siding crane so I could cannibalise the parts (£12) and it arrived today.  It's quite a good little model in its own right so I may abandon the bespoke model and use this one.  Only one problem, the Port Appin engineers are struggling to get the parts to fit.
