I've been in bed today, apart from a brief period up, trying to obtain my father's Mexican birth and death certificates! Nearly there, just need to know which Mexican town he was "born" in! Wonder if there is a place called Dunfermline in the state of Quintana Roo?

I have just watched a beautiful film, directed by Jim Jarmusch, called Paterson. It's about a man called Paterson, who drives a bus in Paterson, NJ, which is the home town of the poet Wiiliam Carlos Williams. Paterson also writes poetry. His beautiful wife is very creative...

Perhaps I'll watch another JJ movie. Steve has gone out, rare bird-spotting, and hey! I've just realised that it's 5pm and not dark yet!
