Frosty start

A frosty start to a bright and sunny day, though it tried hard to snow this afternoon. The mist was rising from the valley early on, very hard to catch as it changes by the moment (see extras) and the leaves in our parking area were frozen solid.  We shopped and ordered heating oil, we may need all three forms of heating (oil, wood burner and electric) next week as it is set to plummet to minus 10 overnight on Wednesday.  N spring cleaned our little yellow car and I gave the lower barn a much needed tidy.
