Wires

The King was in the counting house, counting out his money.
The Queen was in the parlor, eating bread and honey.
The maid was in the garden, hanging out the clothes—
Along came a blackbird and snipped off her nose!

Don’t even ask where that came from, or why. Apparently I was a whiz at nursery rhymes back in the day, and they are beginning to resurface, floating up to the top of the pile.
