Slowly fading.....
.....after last week's hot days and the arrival of ex Cyclone Fehi, this lovely blue lacecap hydrangea is now on the way out.
You first saw it here with it's beautiful blue/purple shades refreshing on a hot summer's day. It was then blipped again, a macro shot of the pretty centre surrounded by petals of blue, how I loved looking out and seeing it in full bloom as I opened my bedroom curtains each morning, now I see just the softer shades of blue, a delicate pink centre both mingling with sage green petals, still pretty but so very different.
Saturday.....backblips of our weekend in Masterton went up, including someone's birthday: starting here. A much cooler day, 16C, mostly white clouds filled the sky with small pockets of blue peeking through, enjoyed a nice day just being at home :)
