Every Cloud has a Silver Lining

Drove over the mountain to play table tennis with my friends and neighbours, the late afternoon sun sinking behind the clouds bathed the landscape in a beautiful light.
Very full day today, taking Rachel to work in Schull, delivering friends to Bantry to catch the bus to Cork. Meeting with a carpenter whose going to replace the single glass in the house windows with double glazing and then an afternoon planting daffodil bulbs, shoveling humanure from our compost loo around the fruit trees (it has been composting for two years ) and stacking loads of firewood, I love these productive days!
