Slow Saturday

A bit of a dreich day today so I’m taking time to do paperwork, as well as getting on with my quilt, since once the nice Spring weather arrives, I’ll be out in the garden :-) I’ve made 9 “daisies” of 7 hexagons and I put them together on the floor this morning to see what they’d look like. Thinking about the author Lucy Boston who made a quilt every winter and wrote a book every summer. I still remember the magic of her books about Green Knowe which I found by a happy accident in the children’s room of the public library when I was a child. I read the same books to my own children.
