Chaffinch

This little bird has proved remarkably hard to get a good look at, due to the fact that it's quite small, not brightly coloured and tends to stay up in the branches or down on the ground, where it's well camouflaged - not a frequent visitor to the feeders.
Today, however, despite the fact that it's been overcast and wet, I got a reasonably good view and was able to confirm it as a female chaffinch - the white wing bars are a distinguishing feature.
