What a day

The grandchildren arrived after football, muddy and chilled to the bone, so that was straight into the bath for them and clothes into the washing machine.

Lunch followed by keeping the boys occupied whilst keeping an eye on the Davis Cup tennis.

So no time to mess around on the photographic front.  These hyacinths are sitting on the kitchen windowsill.
