Bow Fiddle Rock
We had planned a great outing, walking along the coast from Portsoy to Portknockie. Unfortunately when we got to Sandend, we discovered that the footpath was closed. There are landslips all over the place in this part of the world. It seems to be a natural and regular hazard. So, we hopped on the local bus and went back to Portsoy, then drove to Portknockie. It was probably for the best as the weather worsened and, since I had stupidly forgotten to change into my big boots when we left the car, my feet were cold and wet. This view must be fabulous at sunrise. Might do for a zoomed landscape for this week's challenge.
We will have to come back to this part of Scotland in warmer weather. But I did enjoy taking some photos of the many surfers in Sandend Bay (extra).
