Almost There

Two weeks today Joshua will pass out from AFC Harrogate, no longer a Junior Soldier But a Royal Engineer albeit with Phase II training to complete.
Today we got our first glimpse of him for five weeks in a photograph taken as he comes to the end of his TACtical EXercise - TACEX - the photograph, helmets Off, is a light hearted one contrasting clean forehead (cam cream runs into the eyes when sweating and can cause problems) with dirty faces.
Those who know him will notice the difference in his appearance, leaner, fitter with hardly an ounce of fat on him we are looking forward to seeing him.
Me, 12 hours sleep, more vitamins and paracetamol let’s hope the weekend brings relief from this.
