THE CAPTAIN ON SHORE

He is made of wood, with his hand on the rudder, but he does not look at the ship behind him in the river Weser. No travels for him anymore.
The silly thing is that he has a pipe in his mouth, and all the time some funny persons take away his pipe, and still he gets a new one again and again. The ship at the background is the Hessen, now still at rest, but in spring and summer one can go on board for a nice boat trip.
I have enjoyed my free day enormously! The weather was not pleasant, but a walk to get some fresh air did us so good.
