Celtic Connections

We came through to Glasgow today to see some bands taking part in an annual music festival called Celtic Connections.  Two weeks of traditional music brings fans from all over the globe to an array of venues all over the city. This is the last weekend of it for this year.  The band we have tickets for tonight is The Elephant Sessions and tomorrow we are going to see our friends from Shetland playing in their band called Vair. We were at one of my favourite Glasgow venues tonight, The Old Fruitmarket. All the old fruit merchant signs line the balcony and it has a real good atmosphere to it, along with great lighting and sound.
