In the pink
Bitterly cold, wet and gloomy, and not a day for outdoor Blip inspiration! When we had our usual morning walk on the Common with Louie, the wildlife was conspicuous by its absence. These lovely pink catkins are starting to come out though, and I took a few shots from the shelter of my umbrella. I think they're alder catkins...
Home to dry off and warm up then, after a few household chores, I started applying to the festivals where we're hoping to have a trade stall in the summer. Two done, another started, one more to go - should all be in by tomorrow. For various reasons, not many this year, but we may decide to try for more later. Much as summer seems an age away, it will be here before we know it!
