Stepcote Hill
Not a great visit to Exeter this morning although I didn't know it when I was wandering around this area. Stepcote Hill is one of the oldest surviving parts of Exeter and is opposite the 'House that Moved'. Its name comes from the word steep and cote for enclosure.
After a quick visit to the shops I returned to the carpark only to scrape the car on a very tight bend going from one floor to the other. I wouldn't recommend using the carpark the 'Cathedral and The Quays' if your vehicle is wider and higher than usual.
