The Rain in London falls

all the time - at least - that is what it feels like.  

I'm escaping it hopefully tomorrow when we head to Thailand - woohoo - I am incredibly excited.

Today was Steve's birthday so we started with me getting up and getting the tea (normally Steve does this on the weekend).  Then Steve made me breakfast in bed!  

We went to the Everyman in Kings Cross to see The Post - we both thoroughly enjoyed it.  We wanted to go to Dishoom for post cinema food but the wait was 1hr so we headed to Granary Square instead which was nice.

On the wander back to Euston we passed this very lit up birdcage - I liked the reflections so snapped this quickly.  

Unfortunately there was some train chaos on the way home so took the slow train to Watford and then a cab from there.

It's been non stop packing and organising as we are being picked up at 5:55am tomorrow morning which will be tough (as we are now sipping the prosecco in birthday celebration mode!)
