Desperate measures

I am trying to see how many days I can keep blipping without missing a day this year, 11pm tonight and still no blip so here you have our copper kettle complete with dust and reflections. My in laws gave it to us for Christmas many years ago. It has been in a box for nearly ten years when we lived in an apartment but came out of hiding a year or so ago when I remembered we had it. We managed to get out today between the showers without getting wet and I bought a bargain duvet set specifically for our eldest grandson when he stays, which might be more often if he manages to get a place at University. He has three conditional offers so far, he just needs to get the right number of points in his exams. He is studying for the International Bacculareate in Switzerland which involves 6 subjects. As he is not a Swiss National he is unable to go to a Swiss University.
