When you owe your mother money ....

Arlo insisted on buying something that he didn’t have enough money for . His mother said OK , but you can either clean windows or sell some cherry tomatoes from their garden ( which are very prolific at the moment ) He opted for the tomato option , picked the tomatoes , made a sign , rounded up his brothers and headed for the village bus stop . His mother caught him packing up after a short time as no one had stopped , luckily for him I returned from a ride and only had $10 on me because a kind friend had bought me coffee , saw them , bought two containers and told him to keep the change . Others soon stopped when they saw me there and did the same and soon he was sold out .
His mother asked him later what lessons he had learnt , try to be patient and persistence he responded and she explained to him that his commitment to the agreement was important too !!! All three are great kids
