The Italian Room

This lovely room in the Hermitage Art Museum in St Petersburg contains more masterpieces of Italian art than I can remember. A morning being shown round the Winter Palace and the Hermitage left me dazzled and aware that I would need several visits to individual rooms before I would feel I'd taken it in at all.
