San Cristobel

A sad day.  We woke up moored off San Cristobel (the best island).  Our guide Carlos was born there and always referred to it as being the best Island.   Bags packed at left at door of cabin and breakfast at 7. 

San Crisobel has an air field and so after looking at the museum and having a little pootle, we were bused off to the airport for our return trips.   For us, it was back to Quito.

It was quite a long drive from the airport in Quito to our hotel (the same one we stayed at before) but it was nice to see the BVM looking down at us and again and out for a meal and a wander around.  There was some sort of festival/event going on in the nearby plaza which was being televised.  Note to self, don't order the local starter.
