Highly Unsprung

You may take the ground beneath our feet...

But you will never take our shortbread!

Atop the leg wobbling, jelly leg invoking, very tall Culbin forest climbing tower with the one and only Mo and Graham and their Maisie Moo. Great forest walk and 360• views over the Moray Firth over to Cromarty and the impressive mist swirling Moray pine forests from the tower.

We are still tickled pink that they have relocated from Hertfordshire to Moray. They are now in driving instead of flying distance and we look forward to many perusals and potterings in Moray’s and Aberdeenshire’s hidden nooks and crannies, copious tea and cake stops and a few cheeky gins.

The beautiful sandstone setting and Aladdin’s cave contents of Logie Steading 6miles inland from Forres is lovely and definitely worth a revisit when I have more pennies.

(Obligatory stop at Baxter’s - scene of embarrassing moment from Dave where Tess and I cry laughed so hard we had to run out of the whisky shop - on the way up and at the new (novelty still hasn’t worn off, we are easily pleased) Oldmeldrum coop on the way home for lemons to accompany the newly bought Botanist Gin from Logie Steading)
