Frosty

Our first proper frost this winter as can be seen in extras.Nice to have frost and the sun rather than rain which we have had so much of this winter.

If you have time it looks much sharper large.

After moving seedlings out of the germinating room this morning and some watering we decided to have coffee in the conservatory and watch the birds.I set up the Olympus and took a few pictures of them on the feeders.Blue Tits,Great Tits,House Sparrows,Robins and Long Tailed Tits.Out of these species it is the House Sparrow that is on the RSPB Red List being the most endangered a picture of some of our visitors in extras.Growing up on this farm as a kid we would see huge flocks of sparrows especially after harvest on the stubble fields, flocks of probably well over a thousand birds.

An afternoon of tidying up the garden.

Now lost one stone in weight.Another one to go.

Frosty start, sunny spells and dry.
