Boarded Up

It is the first Sunday of the month so, as usual in the winter months, we went to Shipley for the GAMMA Photo Group meeting. Today's speaker was Chris Upton, from Nottingham, who had recorded the closure of Thoresby Coal Mine. He showed his super black and white pictures of different above ground areas of the pit and portraits of the miners. This was followed, after lunch, by more great travel and landscape photographs.

Chris is booked to speak at our club next season so looking forward to that already.
