Another award for film " Hear Me Now"

Delighted to hear that my friend, student filmmaker and director Maria Craig,  and her team have won yet another prestigious award for their documentary Hear Me Now, based on my book Children of Craig-y-nos.
 The film was made as their final project at Stirling University last year.

 

The Royal Television Society Scotland Student Award  (see extra photo) judges said about the film:
 

“We were captured by the emotional power of this short documentary whose contributors reflect on a childhood experience which affected their whole lives. Director Maria Craig enrolled in a Film & Media course at Stirling University in her 60s where she won the award for highest achieving student, and has since gone on to win various awards for her documentaries.
