It's Wrong to Wish on Space hardware

When I was little I used to lay in bed and look out of the crack between the window and the curtain, and the belt of Orion would be right there, and I would gaze and gaze at it.

It was always there, it was a point of reference to fall asleep to.   It was always there, a constant.

I still scan the night sky and find it, and it still gives me a warm feeling.

Tonight I took the camera and tripod out tonight and sat and watched the sky and practised with my settings.

I was delighted to take the shot  above the house - and capture not only so many stars, but also a satellite passing on its way.   (you've got to look close)

I sat in the garden so long, my feet froze and I lost all sensation in my fingers.  but is was so worth it.
