Hadrian’s Wall

We stopped at Chester’s Fort this afternoon on Hadrian’s Wall.

It was really extensive in it’s day...

It had one of the finest Bath Houses in Britain just next to the river Tyne...see blip.

The Romans loved to have a bath!

( We were on our way to Newcastle Airport...we head off to Madeira tomorrow for a week! )
