Calke Abbey, Derby

SUNDAY

We met up with Harriet at breakfast and then went over to Calke Park - a National Trust Property.

Although the house was closed, there are extensive grounds and a deer park to explore and we seemed to walk for miles. Harriet went hunting for some of the geocaches that have been hidden away in the park.

It was a bright but cold day and we were pleased to find that the cafe was open when we returned to the visitor centre.
