Brain dead(line)

Thanks to the support and professionalism of my colleague Amy the funding proposal deadline was reached.

Thanks also to Dan who deposited in the office a huge tub of Haribo chewy strawberries, which provided regular small sugar hits. On days like this that are a race to a deadline, I truly appreciate the good humour of my office and friends at work. There's a very lovely mutually supporting atmosphere.

By the evening I was brain dead and just about managed to heat up some mushroom soup.
