Going away

HtP had kindly driven us home last night in my car and left his van at the hall. So I couldn’t just lie in bed today.

We’ve driven to collect his van and then begun the job of emptying it and my car.

I am overwhelmed by the generosity of people. I have so many presents. I’ve still got loads to unwrap.

HtP and I went to lunch with Caroline and Roy in town before taking them back to the airport.

It’s been lovely to see them. There were many tears as I waved them off.

But once again we move forward.
