Very little remains of this building after fire engulfed it in the early hours of last Tuesday morning. Thanks to the prompt arrival of the fire brigade a local man and his dog had a lucky escape.

Many years ago it was a loved and well cared for home, but in recent times the house and garden were in desperate need of care and attention.  

This morning I had the privilege of meeting UK blipper Gillyh who is in NZ on holiday. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you Gilly and relaxing and chatting over a cappuccino.
