Trumpton, Forever Remembered

Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble, Grub; all remembered fondly as the firemen from Trumpton, the children’s TV show of the 60s which the children watched to give me a moment’s peace in the afternoon to draw breath.
These were the days before I-pads, now used for the same reason, to allow harassed mothers some respite from constant toddler interaction.

We were in the model shop in Lothian Road to buy some modelling material for His Lordship and here were Cuthbert, Dibble and Grub lookalikes. Pugh, Pugh and Barney McGrew were obviously having a break in between call outs.

It must be obvious from the desperation of this blip that it is, after the lovely day we had yesterday, another dank, damp, grey day when blip finding is not high on my list of priorities whereas keeping warm and perhaps a little light reading is.
