Diving Duck

I was watching a group of ducks on land, poking the ground, presumably looking for food.

When they wanted to return to the water, they waddled up to the edge of the lake and just jumped, almost sliding, into the water.

This duck surprised me. He walked up yo the edge and flew into the water. It caught me off guard but I was able to catch this less than perfect image.

I am so pissed off at blipfoto that I could spit! I have been literally falling asleep at the computer, through medicated, blurry eyes, hardly able to read and type, to post this blip. I started at 5:30 pm Thurday. It is now 3:35 am the next day. It's inexcusable and yes, I read their message. They have had plenty of time to fix their problem.
