Last hours

Getting closer to school at Shepton Mallet. Stop over at Stonehenge. In the full school kit but the winter edition withheavy wool shorts, thick long socks and gaiters. It was another year before I was allowed to wear long trousers in winter.

This year it wouldn't be long before I saw my parents again at the end of July.

The two weeks at Gran's in Germany had done my figure no good and despite any homesickness, by August I still hadn't got rid of the extra pounds.
