MonoMonday 211: Apex Insectivore

I'm 'cat-sitting' for a friend. I made sure that I brought along my camera because there is always a good chance that I'll see some of the Resident Sandhill Cranes that consider her mobile-home park their own. The 'park' abuts Lake Kanapaha and Kanapaha Gardens, our lovely Botanical Gardens. All of this is protected land and the cranes have lived and raised their young there for many years. I wasn't sure if I would like this colorful Crane in mono...but I like it well enough! ;)
